Born and grew up in Beijing, China, Carol came to Canada to continue her undergraduate study.  She graduated with Bachelor of  Environmental Design Study in 1992 and Master of Architecture in Dalhousie University in Halifax in 1994.  She has been licensed architect in Ontario since 2001.  She lived and worked in different cities such as Vancouver, Hong Kong, San Francisco and St. John, to broaden her professional and life experiences prior to settling in Toronto.  For more than twenty five years,  she has designed and managed many residential projects including high-end custom homes, townhouses and high-rise condominiums in the GTA, as well as large scale mixed-use residential projects in China.  She established JIN Architect in 2008 with focus on custom home and cottage projects, providing full range of services including architectural and interior design as well as project management.  A Versatile designer, she has managed to infuse the eastern design philosophy and subtlety with western construction methodology and technology in her diversified portfolio.  She is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
